Some folks need a different hobby, I think. Accept the simple greeting from this person, and return it with your own. Neither should cause offense. One should accept a greeting in the way it was intended.

As to the comments about "neo pagans", I am not sure what that means. I know that I tire of those that seek to remake paganism, and druidism into what they want it to be instead of what it was or is. But those that seek to whitewash the actions of the Christian Church at various times are just as guilty. It makes much more sense to me to celebrate what we have in common, and look for the good in folks. And we need to accept the greetings in the manner that they are offered.

So, Bryn, thanks for the greeting. May you celebrate the joy of the rebirth of life and the hope it holds for all of eternity.
