McCain/Lieberman is a non-starter. Lieberman, for all his "backing of the war" is still very liberal. McCain needs someone from the right wing of the party to bring in the conservatives and evangelicals since, for all his "backing of the war", he is seen by them as very center-left.

Obama/Powell is an interesting thought but, I'm sorry to say, probably too "black". How about Obama/(Gen. Wesley)Clark?
