IMO, the McCain/Lieberman ticket would sweep the conservatives- after all, they would just be acting like the Dems in the last election and voting AGAINST the other party's candidate. In that case, it does not even matter if you agree with YOUR candidate.

But thinking people would have to wonder who is more inclusive- a candidate that talks about bringing people together, or one that runs with someone of a different political bent.


It does depend on WHO Obama picks as VP- He could get a strong win out of one of the more "liberal" Republicans. I just don't see that happening, though.
