Cyrus Woolton. Hmmm. I like it.
My first pet (after the Duck who was just called "Duck") was supposed to be named for Sirius -- he being a dog and all. But I probably pronounced it funny because I had barely learned to read. My mother failed to see the connection with the dog star. To be fair he never achieved stardom in any way shape or form. Cyrus was a pretty unusual name for a dog anyway -- and I like that. Also he answered to Cyrus so I guess that was his real name. It doesn't do to confuse a puppy.
