Don, consider giving Steve Martin a second look. He's one of the brightest guys writing and making films today. Have you ever heard him on Charlie Rose? Look for the film we've mentioned in the film thread, All of Me (though I think Men In Plaid is pretty funny also). I'm sure NetFlix has it. It really is the height of sight gags and he makes it look effortless (though there are times when you know it had to hurt!)

I agree, he does do silly stuff, I can't watch all of it either. Like some of the Chevy Chase films, I can watch one and that's my limit for a while. But it isn't moronic, and that makes all the difference (think Adam Sandler).
