I would recommend highly the book/tape combos published by Soolum (?) from Dublin, which include Irish Ballads Volumes 1 & 2, Scottish Ballads - and from memory only, similar combos for fiddle, tin whistle and (maybe) tenor banjo. I have managed to lose my copies so cannot be more specific about publisher details. Other Mudacat contributors will know them well. In Australia they are available fairly freely from Irish shops.

Oh yes, Song For Ireland is definitely part of the collection, as are the others you mentioned.
