Greetings again!

I currently have three upcoming performances in New York City. One is in Brooklyn and the other two are in Manhattan.

• Wednesday, April 9, 2008. Eco-Fest. Kingsborough Community College Marine Academic Center Playhouse. Brooklyn, NY. 12:30-1:40 PM. Anne Price, Hillel Arnold, and I will be presenting a concert of songs by Woody Guthrie. Admission is free and the general public is welcome, but on-campus parking is limited to KCC students, faculty, and staff.

• Saturday, May 3, 2008. Peoples' Voice Cafe at the Workmen's Circle. 45 East 33rd Street, between Park and Madison Avenues. New York, NY. 8:00-10:30 PM. I will be sharing the evening with with my good buddy Joel Landy. First we will each do a 30-minute set. Then we will take a short break, after which we will come back and finish the rest of the evening alternating songs round robin style. Suggested admission: $12. Peoples' Voice Cafe or Workmen's Circle members: $9. TDF vouchers accepted. No one turned away for lack of money. For information, please visit the PVC website.

• Sunday, July 13, 2008. Bowery Poetry Club. 308 Bowery, between Houston and Bleecker Streets. New York, NY. 7:00-9:30 PM. I will be among the featured performers in the Eighth Annual Woody Guthrie Birthday Bash. Formerly held at CB's 313 Gallery, the acoustic twin of CBGB/Omfug, the Woody Guthrie Birthday Bash has become a major yearly event in New York's vibrant folk scene. The other featured performers this year will include Hillel Arnold, Jessica Feinbloom, Emma Graves, Joel Landy, Eric Levine, Anne Price, and Gina Tlamsa. Admission: $6
+ one drink minimum. Click here for BPC website.

Please take note: After more than a century, the Workmen's Circle has sold it's building at 45 East 33rd, and it must vacate by the close of business June 30, 2008. The Peoples' Voice Cafe will move to a new location in the fall, so by May 3 show with Joel Landy will the last time I get a chance to perform at this historic venue. Be there for old time's sake!
