I've tried to stay out of this discussion. I read Jeffrey Sharlet's piece in Harpers on "The Family". I think that this is a dangerous group of dominionist religious nuts. They are very powerful because they have influence in some of the highest spheres of Washington. The fact that Hillary would have anything to do with them reflects negatively on her judgement. These people's agenda makes Wright's comments look tame.
No candidate is all good or all bad. Hillary is a bright woman getting very bad advice from her team. Her campaign reflects a kind of desperation and with her present approach, she can't really win. She would do well to give a detailed and organized speech to the nation as Obama has done on race, Iraq, and the economy. Then we would know where she really stands.
