The concept is brilliant. I like having one PT; I agree with the thinking that newbies will only read so much. As for making it invisible to regulars, the human brain, well mine at least, will surely stop seeing it soon enough. Kind of like the clean laundry on the living room chair awaiting folding.

IMHO the PT should look and behave like a regular thread so that newbies know what to expect. (tranlsation for harpgirl: IMHO TPTSLABLARTSTNKWTE.) If there is a reason to alter things like the list of posters, perhaps use a clickable arrow or scroll bar to make the whole list available. But only if it's shortened enough to make the first posting appear on the initial screenful.

BTW, Max is KING??? I'd always thought he's a computer geek who likes folk music and maybe has a good tax attorney regarding matters of lifestyle. Live 'n' learn!
