Just an observation:

Jack the Sailor's well-reasoned point-by-point post (non cut-and-paste) at 30 Mar 08 - 06:22 p.m. is right on the money. And it is most certainly points in a legitimate discussion.

There are those here who, when faced with a reasonable post such as that, or by any statement of fact or opinion that disagrees with their viewpoint, are in the habit of complaining bitterly that they are being "bullied and shouted down."

If they can't tolerate the expression of other opinions—well, let me phrase it this way:   If you can't stand the heat, then don't sit on the barbeque!
