Delaney Bramlett - of Delaney and Bonnie fame. Showed Clapton a thing or two...he was buds with the late Duane Allman (amongst other luminaries) and spent many an hour jamming on the back porch with Duane (too bad they didn't record some of it for posterity). Mostly does slide work these days.
