I have taken a closer look.

The Hatch Act as interpreted by HSS:

We are permitted to have a political bumper sticker but not allowed to park on Federal property.

One can not wear a political button to work.

We are specificly forbidden to post any political signs at our home.

Political appointees can do whatever the hell they like but they are not suppose to require civil servants to go to political pep rallies...which has been done illegally several times specifically for Bush.
