Ok Bobert, so it's OK for you to interject YOUR politics anywhere and everywhere YOU want but not GG. GG is right to do so because Heston WAS a political figure and a brave soul who took on issues that were NOT POPULAR. I mentioned MLK and now I'll mention the NRA because Mr. Heston was President of that organization for quite a while. Nobody was scripting his lines but himself. Why don't you, Bobert, go onto some conservative website and express your opinions there and see how well you fare? It's easy preaching to the choir but see how it floats in the other half of the country. This thread, as I read it, was meant as an obit for a famous actor and activist. His life was his life and it included his stance against gun control. To not acknowledge that would be dishonest. I'm really sorry you did not agree with Mr. Heston but, IT WAS HIS LIFE.
