Hi Kristi-- thanks for the good news! The original recording is by Gid Tanner and the Skillet Lickers which I think was re-released on one of the County records; if I had to guess County 506. It was brought into the "modern" world by Highwoods in 1973, who recorded it on one of their early albums, I think the one with the red cover. It does not have any words, as far as I know. BTW you wren't thinking of using it for square dances I hope?? it is one of the crookedest tunes I know and very very wonderful. Note that when I did the chords I put an extra slash in after the G; that's where the extra beat is. If you have no other way of getting it , I'll dub a tape for you. Have fun at White Springs!
