What a real shame for Mr.Kamel's family and friends and for all of us who so enjoyed the role's he brought his talent to. In the "Monk" series he was an important part of the mix that creates the chemistry of the show. I hope the writers are wise enough to not just write him out and a new character in but let the audience share in the mourning for the role-character as well as the man. May he always rest in peace and may his family be consoled in part by knowing what great joy and pure entertainment he brought to millions. I loved his over-the-top rendition of "John Henry"!
