My dear grandmother used to buy these little naked barbie-doll-ish things and crochet them up inside a sort of a hoop skirt with a little bodice and cap... the doll's legs get stuffed down in the core of the TP roll and the skirt covers it up. Hideous. Every cousin and aunt and uncle in the vast extended family has them in every loo in every house -- you can't escape the little beasts, especially since Nana has long since passed on and they have achieved relic status.
