The sparrows here start their chirruping just before sunrise. This in turn wakes the Black Destroyer from his slumber. He pads over, puts his chin on my bed, and sighs deeply, repeatedly, until I give in and open my eyes. Then with a four-pawed leap that has slowed considerably with age, he hops up for a g'morning belly scratch. I put on the kettle, and in the silent house, do some yoga reparations to whatever muscles got the snot beat out of them the day before. Angus stretches out, and with the sighing canine equivalent of 'BORING!', watches the entire proceedings. Regardless of the weather, we take morning tea on the porch and watch whatever wildlife allows us to see them. This is followed by my maniacal impulse to torment the hound. "Boy...it sure looks like a nice day to go for a WALK. Wonder if there is anyone who'd want to go for a WALK? Maybe the neighbor's dog wants to go for a WALK??" I'm sure I'll pay for it some day when I'm stuck in a nursing home....;) But no sunrise is ever the same. I think that's what ol' Pablo had in mind. Taking the time to really see the beauty you are given every day. Some find it in the ocean, some find it in the clouds, some find it in Bach. What's important is that you do find it. Thanks kat.
