An update for those of us who loved Col:-

We went over to see Marjorie (his Mum) today. She's doing well but missing his hugs so I gave her some :-) She has almost finished clearing his house, a mammoth task, as some of you will know. Then she hopes to get it on the market fairly quickly. However she still can't get into her living room properly for all the bags of out of date correspondence she brought up and is having to shread (anyone want any animal bedding?)

She has booked herself a holiday in Whitby in June which she is looking forward to. Apparently she used to take Colin there from being a very small boy and has continued to go ever since.

Marjorie is STILL coming to terms with just how popular Colin was. She really appreciated all your good thoughts and is delighted to hear that those who got them are making good use of his teeshirts etc and she's still talking about how many condolence cards etc she received.

It was good to see her today. She looks a lot better than last time we went over and has decided that the sooner everything is cleared to do with the house the better. She's also carrying on with her work for the local theatre - and declaring herself totally independant!

Please carry on sending her 'hugs' as I'm sure she gets them.
