Most Germans of a certain age can probably safely be said to have been Nazi's at some point, in that they may have had no choice but to join either the German army, the SS or the Hitler youth.

So are we going to say that all germans above a certain age should be treated as pariahs and/or abominations to the morality of the western idea of human rights?

And what about their kids?

The head of the catholic church owes nothing to anybody and is certainly not subject to the judgement of some jumped up British/American chick who thinks that her mothers family background gives her some kind of innate moral authority and the right to expect the behavioural compliance of a member of a religion she does not believe in.
