Bob, you are entitled to your beliefs and I respect that. However, you need to respect those of us that have other beliefs and feel indigent at the individuals who hold such lofty offices and turn it into a farce. As you probably know, a church is not defined by a building or a person - it is the values that the members hold. I applaud the pope and the president for trying to improve the world - but when they do that by abusing the rights of others it is wrong and they need to be brought down to reality.

Your eloquent writings about your belief in a god have nothing to do with the man that is on tour in our country this week.   I'm glad you see him a a symbol - the rest of us see him as a symbol as well - a symbol that there is plenty of change still needed in order for this world to survive.
