"And what do you say to 2 billion+ people who just don't see things the way you do?"

How about "have a nice day".   There is nothing that you are expected to say to people who don't see things the way you do - it isn't your place in the world to change the way others think. The only way to make change is to live your life according to the morals you believe in and hope others will treat you the way you treat them. You can't ask for anything more from people, or a from an organization like "the church."
