I've been going since 2003 and it has been good every year. Don't forget that there are new people coming on, and people generally moving about. On the storytelling side there is Tim Ralphs, a young and very up-and-coming talent; like me he has been active in Whitby's story-a-rounds in the Ship Inn. There is also Annamation (hope I've spelt that correctly), a trio of young lady storytellers. I saw them at Taffy's festival in the Lake District and they were excellent. I don't know all of the new people in the song and music sections but if they are of the same standard as these young storytellers then we can expect an excellent festival.
