Subject: RE: How many faces has an Anglo Concertina?
Sadly there was not enough room to include all the faces, including yours Anahata,Brian Peters and many more that I have discovered since it was released, but it is a very good representation of Anglo playing as it is now and with some archives from Scan Tester,Fred Kilroy a bit of how it was then.
English International may provide many faces of that instrument and will cover more of the historical side and it's musical development than Anglo did .Once again like Anglo a 3CD collection. The current update is that the CDs are now mastered, the booklet and information for it has taken longer than expected, Sorry for the delay.
Going back to Jody he has developed a style of playing that reproduces the American Fiddle style and in general plays this on the left side whilst playing the tune on the right. He is featured on Anglo Int. playing with his Contra Dance Band.
Finally Anahata I have at last stopped singing Brambel -Eye- Bush an excellent download from your site and has tempted me to visit you next time you are in my area.
