And of course the lyrics are a bit of a problem--lots of misogyny and whatever "kill the pigs" translates to these days. There may be some social commentary--but updated "kill the pigs", glorifying drugs, and misogyny appear to be in the majority.

But I'm sure, aside from the melodies and the lyrics, it's wonderful stuff.

And I do like "Cicada Serenade"--which might possibly not qualify as "hip-hop".
