Here's an except from a serious comment about Hillary's chances of being the 2008 Democratic nominee from a poster to this dailykos dairy:

"...I think this [the Pennsylvania primary]may be Clinton by 5 points, which means that she will win a margin in electoral votes that has already been canceled by the Super Delegates who have announced for Obama this week. The result? A wash. And what does that mean? That means that she would need to win each remaining primary by a margin of about 67% to 33%. Another way of saying that is that she would need to pick up 2/3 of all the remaining primary votes. THAT is not going to happen.

Remember how John Edwards was going to stay in the campaign all the way to the convention. Then suddenly he wasn't? At some point that "suddenly" moment will come for the Clinton campaign. Just as Super Delegates are conscious of wanting to hop on the winning ticket asap, when the math is dead certain that her campaign is certainly dead, that is what she is going to want to do as well. And let the healing begin".
