The CD is dedicated to the memory of the "late Godfather of Irish Music Tommy Makem."

A mix of trad and soon-to-be trad, with Seamus's wonderful style (his name rhymnes with Shameless for good reason), and the touch of the Mudcat scattered throughout. I'm sure it will be up on Seamus' site and CDBaby soon, and it's a safe bet most of the songs will pop up in his set lists in the coming year.


This is a genre still new enough to Hardi and me that I'll leave the "knowledgable" comments to others. I only know I liked it, and that it fits in fine with the various pirate audiobooks we've been enjoying all year! :~)
