Subject: RE: Seamus Kennedy New CD
Hi guys.

I'm just back from a hectic weekend: Saturday night in Lafayette, IN; Sunday night in Reno, NV; and Monday in Los Banos, CA.

Southwest misplaced my guitar and suitcase on the Reno leg, and I had to borrow one from a friend (thank you, Kevin Lyons!) to do the show.

Both items were delivered to my hotel after the show, and I had the guitar and case for the Los Banos gig.

Cdbaby has all the information and 75 copies of the new CD, so it should be up any day now, and I'll also be putting a link on my website.

Hey Art, I'm gonna be in Albuquerque on June 12th at the Zoo. Will I see you there?

Skarpi, the reason for the 19 songs is that for ideal sound reproduction, there's a time limit on most CDs. I had recorded 20, and had to drop one to get them all to fit. Plus Song For Ireland is already on my Smile and A Tear CD...

Kendall, thanks for the help with Rolling Home To Old New England.

I dedicated the CD to my musical hero, the late Tommy Makem, and I did 2 songs in his style. One of them he wrote - The Boys of Killybegs - and the other, The Day Of the Clipper, he and Liam Clancy made famous.
It was of course written by Steve Romanoff of Schooner Fare.

The last song on the CD is Tom Lewis' great Sailor's Prayer, and I'm glad to announce that Tom will be joining me in Harry Browne's in Annapolis, MD on Tuesday April 29th for an informal and unofficial CD launch.
