Yeah, I guess what I meant to say was there is a much larger percentage of the population here who think blowing up things in somebody else's country makes for a great spectator sport.
It would be interesting to know how many of them profit financially from these endeavors.
There was a story on NPR today about a large number of senior military officers who own shares in many of the companies who provide materials and services to the American war machine. I don't see why this isn't considered to be a personal conflict of interest for each one of them.
