Oops, I missed my chance this evening, except that anything spread around this afternoon would be down the creek by now. These heavy storms are above and beyond what you probably consider a "decent rain." My informal rain gauge (dog food dishes on the back patio) show between 3 and 4 inches. This can be considered pretty reliable, because the dogs haven't had time to come out of their cosy dry den in the garage and lap up the evidence yet. . .
