A few weeks ago we had a wonderful sunset in the eastern sky while the western sky had no evidence of a sunset at all. The clouds were large and low and must have been at a fortuitous angle to create this effect.
These web shots have less depth, deep color and contrast than the actual photos but it shows what a sunset in the east looks like.
