For purposes of disabiguation, Shep Woolley is British and often sings raunchy military songs. Sheb Wooley was a singer/songwriter/actor from Oklahoma who died a couple of years ago. Sheb Wooley was a star in the TV show "Rawhide" with Clint Eastwood and had a huge novelty record hit with "Flying Purple People Eaters".
