OK - I see no problem with asking folks to get a photo ID of some sort in order to vote. If that's too high a mountain for them to climb then I can't imagine making their way to a voting booth on election day is going to be any easier. And I think it would be a more secure way of making sure that the person involved { regardless of the nameless state they live in } is a registed voter.
