Walnut, it just seems to me that one who believes in what they are singing, (or talking about for that matter) can put more of his/her soul into it, having a better grasp of the subject matter. I don't care what anyone's religion is, if they do a good rendition of a gospel song, I'll listen and enjoy, and even help sing if applicable.
