The ceasefire terms declared that the ceasefire REQUIRED Iraq to perform certain actions, which the UN has declared that Iraq did NOT. So, the authorization of force to put Iraq into compliance with the UN Ceasefire terms ( the authorization to remove Iraq from Kuwait) gave the US the power to enforce the UN resolutions.

IMO, and under debate with arguments FROM BOTH SIDES.

Making up lies and then asking where they are authorized is NOT a valid arguement.
