Subject: Lyr Req: Abbie Hoffman's Song for Brother Phil
Abbie Hoffman wrote a song for Phil Ochs a tape of which was played at Phil's memorial concert at Felt Forum NYC on 28th May 1976. The only lyrics I have are:
I'll_____________? on freedom's trail A singing songs and making bail We walked along through Georgia's mud a shoutin out the racist_____?
_____________? and left us here to sing his song _____________? the battle goes on...
It seems there is a tape out there somewhere, and a portion of the song was published in Rolling Stone (3June 1976) 16.
Can anyone help, or is this going to be another 'one post thread'?
