The invader, however, may be in violation of internatuional law but seein' as the US didn't sign onto the World Court for fear it might get hauled up before it there is no way that anyone can enforce international laws against the US short of beating US in a war...

The the victors go the spoils... One of the spoils that the US enjoys (bad word) is that they are not held accountable by anyone other then the US...
