Who can blame Lieberman for backing McCain after what the Democrat party did to him during his last run for the Senate as a Democrat. They crapped on him. He was right when he said that he didn't leave the Democrat Party, the Party left him when it became a tool of the left wingers in the Party.

As to the mudslinging, I for one, am enjoying it. Hillery and Obama are eating each other up. The main objective seems to be which one of them can out lie the other.
