And then, there is the "League of their Own" (which I think Depp fits into), like Ben Kingsley, Alan Rickman, Daniel Day Lewis, Stephen Rea, Javier Bardem, and on the Americas side of the pond, James Earl Jones, and...Johnny Depp...why can't I think of any US actors that are as good as the Euro actors? Oh, Dustin Hoffman--he is excellent. I'm still coming up short w/top American actors, though. Hmmm, no wonder I never go see movies, and stay home and watch indies on Netflix.
