This is so true. I10 LA is awesome! There is also a cathedral of tall, impossibly green trees when the bridges end and of the five times I've driven there, four times I ended driving through these powerful rain showers, none of which covered more then a few miles of road.

I can see why they would need their computers and Ipods. Remember that at least a third of the time it would be dark and that Music might enhance the experience of the scenery.
