Not only should a beginner always find someone else to practice with as Rick suggests, but finding examples of accessible harmony singing to emulate is a great way to develop that skill. In addition to the Everley Brothers, I could also refer people to the newly reissued Scaggs and Rice CD mentioned in another thread recently. Also, John Roberts and Tony Berrand are good singers to glean things from.- Mark
