I still have that recording...had it transferred to DAT years ago...My old buddy in Scotland, Howard Evans from Carnoustie, had the original tape in his safekeeping...don't know if it's still usable...
I'm not sure of the legalities of releasing this stuff into the wider world, but would be happy to do what I can to get this stuff out there....with the family's approval...and all loose ends tied up...

it is an amazing recording...I can't remember if I did the intro that night..or the sound...or just drank Heineken....
The original recording lasts for over two hours...Stan solo....he just didn't want to stop...and the capacity crowd drank it up...
After the first song, Stan looked up in amazement at the reception and applause...and said...
"Do you guys want to come home with me?......I can get you better beer than you get down here"
He had us in the palm of his hand....
