I haven't told Lin that even Stetsons are now imitations. For at least 15 years or so, they've been made in Taiwan.

Although I don't play guitar, my original and genuine Stetson is still holding up acceptably, and I intend to continue wearing it until it begins to look shabby, or until I can find an adequate replacement. (It's only about 24 years old.) I've had a couple of newer ones, including one of the "new Stetsons." They didn't last long.
