The thoughts and words came rushing in to my mind like a din when I read the news. I could not make out any one thought. Then the snippet of his words I most often quote came floating to the surface: "I tell you my friends it's not where you are, but your reason for being there."
Even as a pre-adolescent these words resonated with me.
