Many years ago got a tape of Tom Topping Band and via this fine forum got confirmation from Harvey Andrews among others that Colin was the author of some great songs. I've just refound the tape and a song on it starts 'Open your eys, take a look at the day, Is the sky bright blue or a dirty dark grey' etc. Did he write this one as well, if so and even if not the songs he wrote (eg Cold on the road tonight) deserve to be much better known.
