Hi all

We will be officially launching our new album 'Living History' on an unsuspecting public at Whitefriars Olde Ale House in Coventry on 27th June. Whitefriars is that rarest of beasts – a city centre pub that serves fantastic real ale and feels like a pleasant country hostelry. It's long been one of our favourite watering holes and session venues, so we're really looking forward to doing a proper gig there.

As well as the usual line-up we'll also be joined by Rupert de Jonghe on bass and Duncan Arrow on drums, both of whom played on the new album. This is a bit of a departure for us as previously we've been avowedly acoustic, but we felt that certain tracks from the new album would really benefit from a bit of extra drive. Initial rehearsals have taken place and we're really excited about the prospect of fleshing out the sound and re-jigging some of the songs we've been doing for the last few years as well the new ones. Who knows – if it works, maybe Isambarde Electric will become a thing of permanence!

Admission to the gig is free, but seating is limited so arrive in plenty of time if you're planning to sit down! The full address of the venue is Whitefriars Olde Ale House, Gosford St, Coventry CV1 5DL and we'll start playing around 8.30pm. There's a public car park round the back of the pub which costs a nominal 50p for the whole evening.

Hope to see you there!

Chris
