I met Dave Gahr for the photo shoot for the cover of the Singer Songwriter Project. He was a gentle, humourous man with a wonderful ability to set his 'subjects' at ease. In the course of that shoot he became fascinated by an older lady and took a few pictures of her. He had a smile that could charm anyone. He charmed her with it and gave her a kiss on the cheek before we left. I have never forgot that afternoon in NYC, nor did I ever forget Dave. This world was better for his being in it; now, heaven will benefit from our loss.
