I went to school with Barry and have know him ever since. Our gang supported his Playhouse gigs and we often had chats in Beverley during our lunch breaks - Only saw him a couple of weeks ago and he was telling me how he was looking for a house in France for when he retired. I was in the Lakes last week and only found out yesterday about this tragic loss - totally shocked - a true gentleman and will be sadly missed. Our thoughts go to his family.
