The only problem with Jackson Heights is that parking is horrendous. There are plenty of on-street parking spots, but they are always taken. That's because it's a neighborhood of old high density apartment house built before World War II when no one thought of including parking lots or garages. There is a public parking garage about a block from the festival school, but it's expensive, something like $18 a day. If possible, take public transportation.
