All of the above advice is great. Another tip: half of the campsite is "quiet at night" and the other half "quiet in the morning". Both are mainly suggestions; families with small kids tend to stay in the "quiet at night" section which means lots of early morning chirping in the early am. I tend to camp there, too, because I can always wander over to the late-night section until I'm ready to sleep, and I'm always up with the birds anyway.
I sent my registration in last week- I can't wait! It's the highlight of my summer!
