I truly would recommend a company called Kremona, they are from Bulgaria. For a few generations they have made violins, having studied in Cremona Italy (where stradavarius is from).

I have an acouostic/electric nylon string Fandango model, and it is beautifula nd sounds great. Nice fingering and quality projection. They haven't been in the U.S. for very long, but people are starting to discover them.

Mine is solit walnut back and sides with Spruce top, and I love it.
